If you would like to cancel your order before the final product has been made, please note that we do not offer a refund on the initial 50% retainer payment, however no further payment will be required.

In the unlikely event that there is a genuine fault with your item, I will endeavour to correct this; if it is not possible to correct the fault I will, in this instance, allow a return.

Please note – due to the nature of the fabrics and dyeing process, an exact colour match may not always be possible,

I will always make sure the colour is as close as possible and agree this colour with the client.

If you do need your piece in a hurry please contact me and I’ll do our very best to accommodate this. An extra charge may be applicable.

By buying from a bespoke hat maker you are helping to reduce mass fashion production, creating less pressure on forests, rivers and ecosystems, which are being damaged or destroyed for such things as fibre production and the result of pollution from mass garment manufacture.
All my hats are made in the UK using materials sourced from the UK wherever possible. Hats are made to order, which not only ensures your hat is in its best condition but also helps to reduce waste associated with surplus stock.
Hats can be restored, repurposed or retrimmed after use to ensure less waste and end the idea of throw away fashion.

– Please handle your headpiece with care as it is fragile

A hat box keeps your hat free from dust and dirt and also help protect the colour from bleaching in the sun. Hats should be stored upside down on their crown or supported on a bed of tissue paper so the weight is not placed on the brim. Feathers, flowers and veils should also be propped up using tissue paper to make sure they keep their shape.

Never wear your hat in the rain. Dyes can run, sinamay will lose its shape and silk will get water marks. If the weather looks uncertain then take an umbrella. Makeup can be removed from hatbands and inside the hat by gently using a wet wipe (the ones that contain alcohol work best)
